Driven for only 86,704, this 1967 Camaro convertible comes to Big Boyz Toy Box after the owner just completed a 5 year complete frame off restoration. Starting on the outside, the body was stripped to bear metal and repainted in a stunning Sierra Sand. The original hood was replace with a metal cowl induction hood. All the stainless steel trim are original to the car. The front and rear bumpers and door handles are new. The headlight bezels and grill are original. The black power top has a brand new hydraulic mechanism installed. The eye catching wheels are 15″ Rally chrome wheels and touching the asphalt are new Tire Paws. Now let’s sit inside this classic. The black/parchment leather seats were rebuilt. New carpeting and door panels were added. The console and the shifter are original.Heater and defroster delete. And now a rarity-the back of the driver and passenger’s seats are metal. For Camaro, this was only for this year. The following year (’68) went to plastic. The dashboard gauges have been rebuilt to their original specs. The owner added new after market gauges. There is a brand new IDIDIT (companyy) steering column with a tilt wheel. The ignition is original to the car and rebuilt. Same with the door and trunk cylinder and also the glove box. Listening to tunes with the top down is an experience with this super sound system. The sound system is a retro fit AM/FM radio. With this super radio is a Pioneer 10 CD changer with Panasonic speakers and the radio waves are caught with a power antenna. The power steering has an all new quick ratio steering box. This beauty has new power disc brakes in the front and new drums in the rear. All the brakes lines have been replaced with new lines. The transmission is the original 2-speed Powerglide transmission. Now let’s get to the heart of the matter-the engine. The motor, with only 2700 miles on it, is a 350 crate motor built by Pro Main. It was dynoed at 350 horsepower. It has all new fuel lines and gas tank. The powertrain is the original 10-bolt rear with a 3:08 final gear ratio. To give it that “ride”, there are heavy duty sway bars both in the front and rear. This Camaro convertible has a new custom exhaust system with stock mufflers and chrome tips on the end. There is an updates fuse box by American Auto Wire as well as a new wiring harness.
