Under short description:
This car is a 1969 numbers matching Z11 code Camaro Pace Car. It is equipped with the RS/SS package and has its original 300 horsepower 350 cubic inch engine and “turbo hydra-matic 350” 3-speed automatic transmission. The car was built the first week of May 1969 at the Norwood, Ohio plant and purchased in 1970 by its original owner. It was sold to the second owner in 1990 who kept it in storage for 10 years then completed a frame on restoration in 2001.
It has all original sheet metal with minor body work. The engine, transmission, and carburetor are numbers matching. The correct stock radiator, starter, alternator, water pump, heater core, power brake booster, and master cylinder are new. The weather stripping, convertible top, seat covers, and carpets are also new. The engine and carburetor were professionally rebuilt and has new aluminized exhaust system. The headlight door system, head light washers, and cowl flaps were reconditioned making them all functional. Professional 2 stage paint with clear coat to original stock colors was completed in 2001. I then purchased the pace car in 2003 and have kept it garaged and taken it to several car shows winning multiple trophies.
